Engeyum Kadhal has a simple storyline of couple of contradictory characters. Set in backdrops of Paris, the film revolves around a cheerfully irresponsible youngster (Jayam Ravi), who keeps going along with his life in his own way and doesn’t realize the intense essence of what a LOVE is. But it is until a girl (Hansika Motwani) enters his life.

Prabhu Deva and Nayantara are reportedly planning to marry in June. It is said that they are on the verge of the completion of their respective projects.

Reports claim that Prabhu Deva's Engeyum Kadhal has been completed and it is all set to release on May 6. The shooting of his other project starring Vishal Krishna and Sameera Reddy in the leads, is in brisk progress and he is planning to wrap up the movie by May end.

On the other hand, Nayantara is completely busy with her upcoming Telugu movie Sri Rama Rajyam. Other than this project, the actress has not signed any film.

Now that they are expected to complete their committed projects by May last week, their marriage may happen in June, claims a source. However, Prabhu Deva has recently settled the divorce deal with Ramalath
