After Dancing Amongst Daggers, this week we will have the dogs playing poker. In the last week episode of Switched at Birth, the drama was mix with music and dancing. It is a fun episode with a taste of Disney Channel on it. There’s no surprise to that because some of the stars of Switched at Birth are originally Disney stars. I love the rendition of Switched at Birth original song “All I Want” performed by Lucas Grabeel (Toby) and Austin Butler (Wilke) with Sean Berdy (Emmett) as their drummer.
Lucas and Austin are both Disney stars who starred in Channel Original Movie Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure and High School Musical.
The drama in the life of the Bay and Daphne continues as the Switched at Birth Season 1 Episode 5: Dogs Playing Poker. This episode is expected to air on Independence Day, the fourth of July at 9/8c on ABC Family, right after the telecast of The Secret Life of the American Teenager Season 4 Episode 4.
Switched at Birth Season 1 Episode 5 Spoiler:
Toby is into some financial trouble and convinces Daphne and Emmett join in a poker game with Wilke and with a couple other people. As rule of the game Daphne and Emmett aren’t allowed to sign to each other while playing poker, but Daphne manages to communicate to him anyway. The poker game is becoming intense as more money is at stake. Meanwhile, Wilke, outrageously flirts with Daphne which Emmett doesn’t approve.
On the other hand, Bay’s parent discovered that she’s sneaking around with Ty. They invite Ty over to join them in dinner. The dinner turns out to be a disaster as Bay and Ty are divided by their social status, like how the Kennish’s kitchen is bigger than Ty’s entire house. Plus, Ty reveals a very surprising secret which may change the way the Bay and the Kennishes perception on him.
