Dum Maaro Dum Movie Review: Rohan Sippy’s latest movie Dum Maro Dum is in news for various reasons. In addition to all the plus points that the movie have, other controversies made it as the most awaited movie of the season. This movie marked the debut of Telugu actor Rana Daggubati in Bollywood. Here is Dum Maro Dum review for you.

Goa is completely spoilt by the greedy politicians and businessmen who made it a capital city for drugs in India. ACP Vishnu Kamath (Abhishek Bachan) is appointed to hunt down all the drug businessmen and completely eradicate it from Goa. Lorsa Biscuita aka Biscuit (Aditya Pancholi) is the main drug dealer in that area who uses needy youngsters from middle class background to smuggle drugs. One of such innocent boys who fall in this trap is Lorry (Prateik Babbar). When he gets caught in the web, his well wisher Joki (Rana Daggubati) tries his best to get him out of it. Kamath has to find Michael Barbusa, an invisible man who runs this racket through Biscuit. How does Kamath completes his job with the help of Joki and Lorry forms the rest of the story.

Abhishek Bachan played the role of a tough police officer. He did his best to look tough. But he should have worked on his physique to suit the character. It is not good to see a tough cop with pot belly and double chin, is it? However, he gets the best written role and thus he scores more than others.

Rana Daggubati is pale in initial scenes. His character has some purpose only in the climax scenes. On a whole his work is just Okay. Prateik suited his role to the T. He excelled as an innocent youth. Bipasha Basu is fine.
