Kim Kardashian latest Video Old Navy Lawsuit Reality Temptress Suing Retailer Folllowing Release

This just in: Kim Kardashian has no sense of humor…among other things. While she may have inspired millions of clones to tote Birkins and inject silcone into their asses, do not be mistaken: There’s only one Kimmy K — and she’s got the lawsuit to prove it.

In the most chuckleworthy news to hit the legal circuit since Lindsay Lohan whined that eTrade called her a milk addict (Girl, you’ve stuck plenty of things up that nose of yours, but milk isn’t one of ‘em!) in a 2010 Super Bowl ad, Kim Kardashian is suing cheapie retailer Old Navy after the company released a TV commercial starring a woman who is the spitting image of her… and who just happens to be her ex’s new girlfriend! The soon-to-be married reality TV star has filed suit against the clothing giant based on the allegation that they intentionally used a Kim lookalike in their advertisement, to gain more publicity. She claims that as a result they have damaged her image and her pocketbook in the range of $15 – $20 million.

The ad in question features Molinaro dancing and lip-synching to a synthetic pop song titled “Super C-U-T-E” by a faux band called The Audio Threadz. It’s racked up more than 2 million views on YouTube. Old Navy bosses haven’t exactly tried to shy away from admitting that their spokesmodel,

Kim’s rep blasted the company in a statement: “Old Navy launched a multimedia advertising campaign featuring television and online ads that misappropriate Kardashian’s likeness in the form of a celebrity look-alike, and styled the infringing ads to evoke Kardashian’s identity and persona.”

Further complicating things is the fact that Kim’s doppelganger, Melissa, is dating her cheating ex, Super Bowl champion Reggie Bush (Guess someone has very specific tastes!).

While Kim is fuming, Melissa is loving the comparisons. “To me it’s extremely flattering. She is a beautiful woman…That’s an amazing compliment,” she told E! News. Molinaro also took to Twitter on Wednesay to address news of the recent lawsuit.

We’re still talking about this?! Its JULY this aired in February,” she wrote. Some people have too much time on there hands.”

Check out the ad: Think Kim’s got a case? Can you sue someone just for looking like you?
